Modern Warfare 2: Leaderboard Reset

Robert Bowling (FourZeroTwo), the creative strategist at Infinity Ward, has finally addressed the issue of an unfair advantage for people who already have their hands on a copy of Modern Warfare 2.

Robert tweeted the following on the subject;

It definitely looks like a full leaderboard / level reset is in order just before the release date to ensure no unfair advantages.

In regards to what action will be taken against people who have pirated the game, the following was tweeted;

They’re listed on the leaderboards. Logging online with a modded Xbox is like sewing a big red scarlet letter on yourself.

Though it was only the PC brigade that pirated and hacked the game..not IW's beloved xbox..DEDICATED SERVERS FOR ALL..now that would be progress..

my friend flashed his xbox disc drive to read burned discs. he downloaded the torrent 2 weeks before the game came out and played it on his 360, so no system is safe against hackers. so don't even try to gain sympathy for the pc because the pc is gay.

actually no. the pirated 360 version has been out there for days. i am sure a small percentage of those online have legit copies but most do not. damn 360 scum.
